Reserve, inspect and receive a verified spot cargo through secured escrow milestones.
Choose an available spot cargo, register in the Alghaf Trading Portal and complete the compliance review.
To reserve the selected cargo, place 3% of the contract value into escrow. The offer remains reserved while documents are reviewed.
Receive and review the cargo, vessel and operational documents for the selected offer.
Are the documents acceptable?
Proceed and place an additional 17% into escrow.
After the escrow balance reaches 20%, appoint an agreed independent inspection company. The inspector verifies product quality, quantity, availability and cargo readiness.
Did the cargo pass inspection?
Confirm acceptance of the cargo and proceed to delivery positioning.
After cargo acceptance, Alghaf confirms the delivery schedule and positions the carrying vessel at the agreed shore terminal, anchorage or alongside the buyer’s nominated vessel.
When the cargo is positioned and ready for transfer, place the remaining 80% into escrow.
