Compliance & settlement

Review before execution.

Every potential transaction is assessed against the counterparties, product, delivery route, supporting documents and applicable settlement framework.

Our compliance framework covers counterparty screening, export documentation checks and settlement-path review before any petroleum transaction proceeds. Buyers and agents can use this page to understand the controls applied to KYC, sanctions exposure and trade execution standards.

Our operating principle

Commercial discussion does not replace due diligence. We only progress transactions where the proposed structure can be reviewed, documented and executed under applicable requirements.

What is reviewed

  • Counterparty identity, role and available KYC information.
  • Product, origin, delivery basis, route and operational feasibility.
  • Supporting trade documentation and the stated commercial purpose.
  • Settlement route, including any proposed escrow arrangement.

Independent inspection

Pre-loading and discharge inspection may be arranged under the agreed contract process where operationally required.

Escrow settlement

Escrow may be considered only where the provider, transaction structure and release conditions are suitable for the particular transaction. It is not an anonymous, automatic or unrestricted payment option.

Important

Review does not guarantee acceptance. A proposed transaction may be declined or paused where documentation, counterparties, route or settlement conditions are not sufficiently clear.

Next step
