What Is D2 Gasoil?
D2, also written Diesel Gas Oil D2, D2 diesel or D2 gas oil, is the CIS distillate designation still used in international tenders. GOST 305-82 is a climate-marked diesel table: viscosity is quoted at 20 °C, sulfur types are typically 0.20% or 0.50% mass, and cetane is discussed from 45 — not 51, and not 10 ppm.

Winter (З) discussion typically tightens pour/cloud point and lowers viscosity and flash versus summer. If the RFQ is actually EN590 10 ppm, use the EN590 sheet — GOST 305-82 is not ULSD.
D2 vs EN590
EN590 is 10 ppm ultra-low sulfur diesel for European / ULSD programmes. D2 is GOST 305-82 distillate language still used in RFQs. Mapping one onto the other is only valid if sulfur and the standard are agreed. See EN590 supplier.
D2 vs Gasoil
Industrial gasoil 0.1%, 0.5% and 1.0% is a sulfur-grade book for power and heating. D2 is a named RFQ designation. Use the gasoil product sheet when the enquiry is sulfur-grade industrial gasoil rather than GOST D2.

D2 FOB & CIF Supply
D2 FOB Supply
D2 FOB may be evaluated from the distillate loading point of the cargo programme. Climate marking (Л / З / А) and sulfur type have to travel with the nomination — they are not assumed from the word D2.
D2 CIF Supply
D2 CIF may be evaluated to approved industrial / diesel destinations. Cold-flow marking for the discharge climate is named in the indication. This is not an EN590 10 ppm CIF unless that table is contracted.
D2 Supply Hubs
UAE / Fujairah, ARA / Rotterdam, Mediterranean, Southeast Asia, Black Sea and other approved locations may be used for transaction-specific execution. D2 supplier Fujairah or D2 diesel UAE describes possible execution, not published tanks.

EN590 is the European 10 ppm ultra-low sulfur diesel specification. D2 is a CIS / RFQ distillate designation often referenced to GOST 305-82. They are not automatic synonyms. Where the buyer actually requires EN590 10 ppm, that grade is contracted on the EN590 product sheet.
