Origin & compliance

Non-sanctioned origin aviation turbine fuel may be evaluated for selected programmes. Final origin is transaction-specific. Hub names are not airport stock lists.

Loading or execution location does not by itself determine product origin. Each transaction remains subject to applicable counterparty, destination and sanctions-compliance review.

No standing stock, terminal or producer allocation is published on this page. Quantity, origin, specification and pricing are confirmed for the applicable transaction.

JP54 jet fuel RFQ bulk aviation supply
01 Product

JP54 Jet Fuel Supply

ALGHAF MARINE FZCO evaluates JP54 as an aviation-turbine RFQ label, not as a certified ASTM grade and not as airport hydrant stock. Where the buyer requires Jet A-1, ASTM D1655 or DEF STAN 91-091, that table is written into the SPA. Non-sanctioned origin is available for selected programmes. JP-5 and JP-8 are different military grades and are not assumed from JP54.

What Is JP54?

JP54 is broker and search terminology for jet / aviation turbine fuel. It has no standalone ASTM table. Freeze point, JFTOT thermal stability, flash, density and aromatics exist only on the contracted aviation specification — typically Jet A-1 where that grade is named.

02 Specification

JP54 Specifications

There is no JP54 ASTM table. The numbers below apply only where Jet A-1 (ASTM D1655 / DEF STAN 91-091) is the contracted grade. They match the Jet A-1 product sheet and are typical public-standard discussion limits, not a standing Alghaf CoA and not hydrant / airport stock.

Where Jet A-1 is contracted — typical ASTM D1655 / DEF STAN 91-091 limits

Parameter Typical / Limit
Standard (if contracted)ASTM D1655, DEF STAN 91-091 — not a JP54 standard
Freeze point−47 °C max (Jet A-1)
Flash point38 °C min
Density (15 °C)775–840 kg/m³
Sulfur (total)0.3 % mass max
Aromatics25 % vol max
Thermal stabilityPer ASTM D3241 (JFTOT)

If the RFQ is Jet A-1 grade intent, use the Jet A-1 sheet. JP-5 (higher flash) and JP-8 are not this page.

JP54 vs Jet A-1

Jet A-1 is the named aviation grade. JP54 is the RFQ label. An enquiry written as JP54 is mapped to Jet A-1 only where that specification is contracted. Use this page for JP54 search intent. Use Jet A-1 for ASTM D1655 / DEF STAN 91-091 grade intent.

03 Origin

Non-Sanctioned Origin JP54

Non-sanctioned origin is available where the programme is aviation turbine fuel under the contracted specification. Origin is confirmed commercially. JP54 Fujairah or JP54 Singapore describes possible execution, not a published origin certificate.

04 Delivery

JP54 FOB & CIF Supply

JP54 FOB Supply

JP54 FOB may be evaluated from the aviation-turbine loading point of the cargo programme, subject to the contracted specification (Jet A-1 / ASTM D1655 if that is the RFQ). This is bulk cargo FOB, not airport hydrant or into-plane supply.

JP54 CIF Supply

JP54 CIF may be evaluated to approved bulk destinations. Freeze-point and JFTOT limits travel with the contracted aviation table, not with the JP54 search term. Hub names are not claims of jet stock at those airports.

JP54 Supply Hubs

UAE / Fujairah, Mediterranean, Southeast Asia / Singapore, Black Sea and other approved locations may be used for transaction-specific execution. This is not a claim of jet stock at those airports or terminals.

05 Price & enquiry

JP54 Price

JP54 price is transaction-specific. Aviation market context may be taken from Jet Fuel history — FOB Arab Gulf — it is not a JP54 list price and not a Jet A-1 firm offer.

How to Buy / Request JP54

  • Aviation specification (Jet A-1 / ASTM D1655 if that is the RFQ)

JP54 frequently asked questions

What is JP54 jet fuel?

JP54 remains a widely used international RFQ and search term for aviation turbine fuel. It is not itself ASTM D1655 or DEF STAN 91-091. Final aviation fuel quality is defined exclusively by the contracted specification. Jet A-1 is available where that grade is contracted.

What is the current price of JP54?

JP54 price is transaction-specific. It depends on the contracted aviation specification, quantity, origin, hub, FOB or CIF, destination and shipment window. No invented dollar-per-MT figure is shown on this page. Jet A-1 market history may be used for RFQ context only.

What are the typical specifications of JP54?

JP54 has no standalone ASTM table. Where Jet A-1 is contracted, typical ASTM D1655 / DEF STAN 91-091 discussion covers freeze point max −47 °C, flash min 38 °C, density 775–840 kg/m³, sulfur max 0.3% mass, aromatics max 25% vol, and thermal stability per ASTM D3241 (JFTOT). Not JP-5 or JP-8. Not airport hydrant stock. SPA and cargo CoA govern.

Is non-sanctioned origin JP54 available?

Yes. Non-sanctioned origin programmes may be evaluated where the enquiry is for aviation turbine fuel under the contracted specification. Origin is confirmed commercially and is not implied by the execution hub.

Do you supply JP54 FOB?

Yes. JP54 FOB may be evaluated from the aviation-turbine loading point of the cargo programme, subject to the contracted specification (Jet A-1 / ASTM D1655 if that is the RFQ). This is bulk cargo FOB, not airport hydrant or into-plane supply.

Do you supply JP54 CIF?

Yes. JP54 CIF may be evaluated to approved bulk destinations. Freeze-point and JFTOT limits travel with the contracted aviation table, not with the JP54 search term. Hub names are not claims of jet stock at those airports.

Which supply hubs are available for JP54?

Transaction-specific execution may be arranged through UAE / Fujairah, Mediterranean, Southeast Asia / Singapore, Black Sea and other approved locations. Hub listing is not physical aviation stock at those airports or terminals.

What is the difference between JP54 and Jet A-1?

Jet A-1 is the named aviation turbine grade, typically ASTM D1655 / DEF STAN 91-091. JP54 is RFQ terminology. A JP54 enquiry is mapped to Jet A-1 only where that specification is contracted. This page captures JP54 search intent; the Jet A-1 sheet is the aviation grade page.

Is JP54 the same as Jet A-1?

No. JP54 is international RFQ and search terminology. Jet A-1 is the named aviation turbine grade. They are not the same specification. A JP54 enquiry is fulfilled as Jet A-1 only where Jet A-1 is written into the SPA. The aviation grade sheet is Jet A-1.
